How to read these anagrams.
To make a full anagram choose one word from each column. Consider the below snippet from anagrams of "anagrams"
The anagrams listed here are:
- nags a arm (+ arm a nags, a nags arm, etc)
- nags a mar
- nags a ram
- nags a Mr a
- snag a arm
- snag a mar
- snag a ram
- snag a Mr a
- nag as arm
- nag as mar
- nag as ram
- nag as Mr a
You can see how doing it this way means there's much less to read, so you can scan them much quicker. This example packs 12 word combinations into 4 lines. If there were 3 columns of 10 words each, that would take (10 × 10 × 10 =) 1,000 lines, or 3,000 words, to display conventionally, but only 10 lines, or 30 words to display in this way.
